Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
